Gerardo "Gerry" Diaz
Life is a plan.
Pleased to meet you! My name is Gerardo Diaz, but feel free to call me Gerry [pronounced same as “Jerry”]. I am a Mexican-American now living in Watertown, New York.
There is so much to mention, but I will tell you about me in a series of big events throughout my life. Let’s start with my birth place, Mexico; from there my family migrated to the USA and lived in Chicago most of my life.
Being an immigrant in the US did not stop me from pursuing my university education; it took almost eight years, but perseverance and endless hard work made it happen. My lifelong dream of being an engineer came true! ONLY to give it up after three years in the field, LOL. For what reason would I leave such a luxurious job? To open a Mexican Restaurant with my partners, in hopes to live a more fulfilling life where I can bring people together and contribute to their moments/life.
Now that I have lived in Watertown for the past six years I see many improvements and good things coming. So much so that I have my own home and started a family here. I want our community to prosper and become a place people we are proud of; I entered the field of real estate with the intent to keep a promise to myself, to help people get to the next chapter of their life; to make a difference to those I speak to and provide value added support. It’s impossible for everyone to do everything on their own and one cannot know everything, let me be there for you.
I will use my knowledge to better guide you into your next endeavor.
I hold myself to the standard of the National Association of REALTORS®.
